 Barack Obama  Barack Obama was the 44th president of the United States . He  was born August 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to parents Barack H. Obama, Sr., and Stanley Ann Dunham. On February 10, 2007, Obama formally announced his candidacy for President of the United States, and on November 4, 2008, Obama became the first African-American to be elected President. I'm writing about him because he made a big impact on Americans by helping more people get healthcare and improving the economy.  Obama helped Americans to afford healthcare, especially if they had before conditions. He signed the Affordable Care Act into law.  Since 2010, The ACA has given more than 40 million Americans access to health care, expanded Medicaid to 40 states to cover 21 million low-income adults under 65, and protected as many as 133 million from losing their health insurance. Now Obamacare also gives insurance to immigrants who can't afford Medicare helping them to cover almost their basic needs.

SMART GOAL   Specific: I want to expand my English vocabulary to better communicate and understand written and spoken English. Measurable: I will measure my progress by learning and practicing 10 new English words and their meanings each day, using flashcards, vocabulary apps, and reading English texts. Achievable: I will dedicate 30 minutes every day to learning new words, reviewing previous ones, and using them in sentences to reinforce my understanding. Relevant: Improving my English vocabulary, I will have the ability to communicate effectively in English-speaking environments, advance my career opportunities, and extend my cultural and educational experiences.   What I learned about Founders Day  I learned about the importance of Founder's Day, which is a day to commemorate the founders of the institution and all those people who have been and continue to be part of the growth and achievements of the university, I learned who the founder of the university was Richard R Wright Sr in 1890 and the multiple name changes that the university had in its history, I learned that savannah state university was the first historical black college university (HBCU) in the state of Georgia and the fourth in the entire country.

My city

Mi city  Bucaramanga-Colombia  I started by giving an introduction about Colombia where I talked about how it has 32 departments one of them is Santander, and its capital is Bucaramanga. Bucaramanga is my hometown. It has a population of approximately 625,114 people, known as the beautiful city of Colombia and the city of parks. I had to show on the map the location of my house and the city, and I also talked about my family.  in the presentation, I also talked about the food of Colombia and its typical dishes, which are mute which is like a soup with meat, petitory which is the meat of the goat, hormigas culonas, and oblea which is like a dessert that comes with arequipe, cheese, cream, and blackberry or different fruits. Bucaramanga also has many tourist places to visit. I talked about three places: the bridge of the Ninth which is known as the longest bridge in Colombia and has lights that illuminate the city, I also talked about the hill of the Santisimo which is a place to see the
